A shaving brush does quite a bit to exfoliate, and the act of shaving alone removes an entire layer of dead skin; you don’t need a special cream for exfoliating. If properly cared for a brush will easily last a decade or two.

4. Shaving Brushes make you feel great

It just makes you feel like royalty, if you’ve never used a brush before it’s hard to describe, like trying to describe colors to a blind man. It’s the shaving equivalent of having a manual transmission in a little sports car on an open and winding Italian mountain road.
